Fun!

Nice character design, and attention to little things like secondary animation (overshoots and snapbacks and the like.) Well done indeed.

Marvelous

Great characters and a unique, original style. Nice attention to detail: You really thought about the characters and the wrld they live in, and that makes us care about Sonia all the more. Lots of fun stuff going on the background, little details that make the story fuller and more enjoyable.

Thanks for a fun watch. I will certainly look forward to more of your work.

Good.

I like the style. Keep at it. I would bend an eye towards sophisticating your sense of perspective, a hard thing in design, but you've got a great head start.

Too bad the music doesn't go all the way to the end. Although silence at the tombstone is a strong choice. A little preachy at the end. I'd have gone with the "Less-is-More" philosophy around the text.

Personally, I like to see a variety of stories and styles on Newgrounds. I think the more we are exposed to, the better we become. Thanks for a good watch.

I smiled right out loud.

Not meant to be the world's greatest, I think, but makes a good point and quite funny. Lots of little details which I just thought hilarious, esp. the "You got more glasses!" and the Features list (goes by a wee too fast to read it all at one go).

If you're up for some constructive criticism, I'd take a second look at how you layout the screens: be mindful of putting differing texts too close together, and bunching up the visual elements in general. There's a lot to enjoy in this piece, make sure you give your viewer the easiest way to absorb it all.

Does it for me.

Superior character design and movement makes you care about what happens to this guy. You really get invested in the story.

One suggestion: perhaps play with some graphical way to indicate the "otherworldliness" of Khef. E.g., if the big guy's Khef is blue, perhaps show us a hint of blue when we see the Host's khef. A gradient or transparent khef might also give a nice feel to it. That said, I do love the b&w: It takes real skill and insight to work in a tightly defined pallette.

Looking forward to more.
